Description

SafeEndo Smart Temp is designed to streamline the workflow of multi-visit dental procedures. As a moisture-activated material, it begins to harden quickly (typically within 4 minutes) once it comes into contact with saliva, eliminating the need for complex mixing or light-curing. Its high-ductile nature allows it to be easily packed into the cavity, where it spreads under gentle pressure to ensure comprehensive adaptation to the dentin walls.

The smart temp material is formulated with Zinc Oxide and Calcium Sulphate, providing the necessary mechanical strength to withstand occlusion-loaded restorations for short durations. Being eugenol-free, it is fully compatible with permanent resin-based cements and composites, as it will not inhibit their polymerization. It is safe and non-irritating, making it suitable for a wide range of patients, including those in pediatric care.

Application Instructions

1. Placement: Use a suitable filling instrument to insert a small portion of the paste into the cavity.

2. Adaptation: Apply gentle pressure to ensure the material adapts to the cavity walls. (Application to a wet cavity is recommended for better adaptation).

3. Clean-up: Remove excess material from the margins using a moist cotton pellet.

4. Caution: Do not use directly on an exposed pulp area.
