Return & Refund Policy – DentistKart

DentistKart is operated by AK Enterprises. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which products purchased from our website may be returned, replaced, or refunded.

1. Return / Replacement Window

  • We offer a 10-day return or replacement window from the date of delivery.

  • All return requests are subject to inspection and approval by our Quality Check Team.

2. Eligibility Conditions

A product will be eligible for return or replacement only if:

  • The request is raised within 10 days of delivery.

  • The product is unused and in its original condition.

  • Original packaging, labels, manuals, warranty cards, and accessories are included.

  • The product does not show signs of misuse, damage, installation, or tampering.

  • The serial number (if applicable) remains intact.

Note: DentistKart reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.

3. Non-Returnable Categories

Due to hygiene, safety, regulatory, or installation considerations, the following categories are generally non-returnable:

  • a) Consumables & Clinical Use Products

    Examples: Dental cements, composites, impression materials, gloves, masks, bonding agents, etchants, etc.

  • b) Regulated / Pharmacy Products

    Examples: Sanitizers, disinfectants, regulated medical supplies.

  • c) Installed / Heavy Equipment

    Examples: Dental chairs, compressors, UV chambers, X-ray units, RVG sensors, autoclaves, scalers, motors, etc.

  • d) Low-Value Items

    Products priced below ₹250 may not qualify for return due to handling and logistics costs.

💡 Exception: If any of the above products are found to be defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, they may qualify for a replacement or refund if reported within 24 hours of delivery (or at the earliest possible time after delivery), subject to verification.

4. Reporting Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • If visible external damage is observed upon arrival, please refuse delivery.

  • Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Email clear photos or a short video showing the defect/damage to info@dentistkart.com.

  • Include your Order ID and contact details.

Failure to provide sufficient evidence may delay or result in the rejection of the claim.

5. Return Shipping Charges & Deductions

To ensure pricing transparency, logistics charges are handled based on the reason for the return:

Change of Mind / Ordering Error

  • Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

  • A nominal processing fee of ₹100 may be deducted from the refund amount.

Defective / Wrong / Damaged Product

  • Return shipping will be arranged and fully covered by DentistKart.

  • No deduction will be applied.

6. Return Process

  1. Submit a return request within 10 days of delivery.

  2. Share product photos/videos via email.

  3. Wait for confirmation and return instructions from our team.

  4. After receiving the product, our Quality Check Team will verify eligibility.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

7. Replacement or Refund

  • A replacement will be provided if stock is available.

  • If a replacement is not available, a refund will be processed to the original payment method.

  • Refunds may be adjusted for applicable fees (if any).

After product verification is complete, the refund will be processed based on the timelines below:

Refund timelines ultimately depend on banking partners and payment gateway providers.

9. Technical Equipment Assistance

For certain technical products, troubleshooting support may be offered before approving a return. If technician service is required and approved, reasonable charges may be reimbursed upon submission of a valid invoice.

10. Warranty Claims

  • Physical damage, misuse, or unauthorized repairs are not covered under warranty.

  • Manufacturer warranty terms apply where applicable.

  • DentistKart facilitates warranty coordination but does not directly provide manufacturer warranties.

  • Customers are advised to review warranty information on the respective product page.

11. Additional Conditions

  • Partial returns are permitted if individual items meet the standard eligibility criteria.

  • Products with tampered seals or serial numbers will not be accepted.

  • Free gifts or promotional items are non-returnable.

  • Policy updates take effect immediately upon posting on the website.
